To complete the breadth requirement, do we select courses that complete the breadth requirement even if they do not relate to our program of study?
Breadth requirements are set up to allow you to explore courses outside your program and to develop an interdisciplinary perspective. Usually you need to take courses outside your immediate area of study to complete all of your breadth requirements. That being said, it is possible to fulfil breadth requirements if your program of study is very interdisciplinary.
